■１ 第４回 ゴール形成節足動物に関する国際シンポジウム
－ゴール形成節足動物とそれらをめぐる生物群集の多様性－
期日：2005年9月5日ー8日
場所：京大会館（京都市左京区）

表記の国際シンポジウムが，下記の通り，2005年9月に京都で開催されま
す．このシンポジウムは，過去に３回，ハンガリー，ロシア，南アフリカで
開催 されています．これまでのシンポジウムでは，ゴール形成者そのもの
を対象に， 分類学的，生態学的，行動学的，生理学的研究などの発表や討
議がなされてきました．しかし，今回はゴール形成者のみならず，それらを
取り巻く生物群集 にまで対象を拡大しました．例えば，ゴール形成者と寄
生者，捕食者，同居 者，空ゴール利用者，えい食者などとの直接的な相互
関係や，ゴール形成がも たらす植物形状の改変が同一寄主植物を利用する
他の植食者に及ぼす影響な ど，これまでより幅広い分野の研究成果の発表
を歓迎致します．さらに、シン ポジウムプロシーディングスをSpringer-
Verlag, Tokyoより出版する予定で す。詳細と参加申し込みはホームページ

It was my great pleasure for me to attend your annual society
meeting in Tamagawa University last March and introduced you about
the 5th Asia-Pacific Congress of Entomology to be held in Jejudo,
Korea, from 18th to 21st of October 2005. The detail information

We are now accepting standard registration for the congress since
last May, and would like to urge you to make early registration and
hotel reservation for the meeting.
