応動昆英文誌(Appl Entomol Zool)と和文誌(Jpn J Appl Entomol Zool)では、
学名の表記に関する規定ついて、以下の通り修正いたします。両誌へのご投稿
に際しては、ご留意いただきますようお願い申し上げます。

英文誌
修正前：The full scientific name of each species (including plants) must be given together
with the authority for its name when first mentioned in the abstract and the main text,
and its genus should be abbreviated thereafter with the exception that a sentence should
begin with the full form of the scientific name.
修正後：As a general rule, the full scientific name of an insect (animal) species that is being
studied must be given together with the authority and the order and familyplacement when
first mentioned in the abstract and the main text. The genus name should be abbreviated
thereafter with the exception that the full form of the scientific name should be used when
beginning a sentence.
和文誌
修正前：昆虫の学名等は，本文中で最初に記述する場合は，例えばニカメイガChilo suppressalis（Walker）
のように学名および命名者名を付して示す．
修正後：原則として，研究対象である昆虫（動物）の学名等は，アブストラクトおよび本文中で最初に
記述する場合は，例えばニカメイガChilo suppressalis（Walker）（チョウ目：ツトガ科）のように，
学名および命名者名の後ろに（ ）付きで（目名：科名）を記述する．
