The Japanese Society of Applied Entomology and Zoology
The Japanese Society of Applied Entomology and Zoology (JSAEZ) was founded in 1957, following a merger of the Japanese Society for Applied Zoology, founded in 1929, and the Nippon Society of Applied Entomology, founded in 1938. Membership is open to all researchers in the fields of applied entomology and applied zoology including acarology and nematology, as well as pesticides and their application machinery. The society was incorporated in April 2017.
The Japanese Society of Applied Entomology and Zoology publishes two journals, the Applied Entomology and Zoology, an international journal published in English, and the Japanese Journal of Applied Entomology and Zoology, which is published in Japanese. Both journals are published quarterly, in February, May, August, and November.
